In 2014, Michelle Saiz started her first pet sitting company, Michelle's Pet Sitting. Michelle was a full-time Veterinary Technician and started getting inquiries if she could care for clients pets that had special recommendations. Michelle is certified to give, IM injections, insulin injections, subcutaneous fluids, medications... (e.g.) Soon, Michelle found herself helping multiple clients and getting referrals from her current clients for pet sitting services. With such a need and demand for Pet Sitters, Michelle decided to work a side job outside of her routine technician job and started, Michelle's Pet Sitting.
After working as a Veterinary Technician/Lead Technician for 11 years, in 2018, Michelle decided to take a year off to have major surgery and focus on her recovery and family. Michelle continued to provide her services for pet sitting while she took a year off and soon found herself extremely busy with adding many new clients within the year. In January of 2019, Michelle decided to follow her dreams of being a business owner/entrepreneur and became a Certified Professional Pet Sitter who has been offering pet care services to many residents and their "four-legged furry kids" in Mesa, Arizona. Michelle decided to retire Michelle's Pet Sitting and created Confetti Paws Pet Sitting LLC & Confetti Paws Boutique.
When I was a little girl I always wanted to work with animals. I believe animals come into our lives with a purpose and I've been so lucky to have dedicated my career and heart in helping them. I have been a Veterinary Technician for over 11 years specializing in animal emergency, surgeries, day practice, teaching veterinary assistants, being lead technician and overseeing the staff and hospital. I have been married for 21 years to my high school sweetheart and we have three wonderful children who are, 21, 19, and our baby is almost 18. Taking 2018 off for a year was a blessing. I was able to slow down my fast passed life and spend time with my children, as young adults, and helping them start college, start driving and mentor for their future. I'm also a fur mommy of 3 dogs, Nevaeh, Ozzie, and Coconut, 1 kitty named Fudge and 2 guinea pigs, Biggie and Cube. Spending more time with my pets was a necessity to me due to my children being grown and not being able to spend as much time as they used to due to their busy schedules. I was also available to give full attention to my clients and their "four-legged furry kids."
I'm very lucky to be doing what I love and if I can help and care for pets either as a Veterinary Technician or a Pet Sitter, I'm living what I believe I was called to do.
